I'm so thankful that I have a friend to talk to my favorite fictional characters about. I'm thankful that we can talk about what's afflicting us in our lives and follow it up with an off-topic joke. We've been friends for five years now, and I'm grateful for every second of it. I can't wait for her to come to Mason next year so we can see each other and get to talk to each other when she's on campus but out of class. Right now, her school won't allow her to have her phone out during school hours, so I have to wait patiently until school lets out. She's younger than me, but she already knows how to drive and even has her own car. I know she's going to be driving me places, and I'm honestly not mad at all. She's like the sister I never had, and I love her like family. She's basically a part of my family already! She comes over on occasion, but we mostly talk over the phone, and I bring my phone around even to the kitchen when I go grab food and she's chilling on her bed at home. I want to support her dream of becoming a graphic artist and one day animating her own work, and I'm so glad that she's pursuing something she loves. Too many people nowadays are just choosing a major that'll get them money, and I don't encourage that at all. Do what you love most of all!
